Our new home

The living room is lovely and sunny, but we still need a heater in winter. The deck will get lots of use in summer - ideal spot for a barbeque.

Malakai

Well it may not be considered a 'real' smile at 2 weeks old, but it's good enough to make Nana smile!

McGonagles' home

'The Shed' is in fact a nice two room self contained flat. The horse (part-Arab stallion) is in a nearby paddock. The beach is Shelly Beach at Ballina, where McGs used to live. And Malakai's t-shirt reads"I'm Definitely Up To Something"!

YWAM, Byron Bay NSW

McGonagles are living at the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base at Byron Bay; Gray's Farm.

Happy Families

It was lovely spending time together.

gifts for Malakai

Such a darling wee boy, of course he was given gifts! Bassinette from Nana & Grandad, stroller from Lisa & Bella, mini foam couch from Steve Perrott.

more of Malakai

I'm absolutely delighted to meet Malakai so early in his life.... Ben's one very proud Dad (exhausted, but proud!)

Welcome Malakai

Malakai McGonagle was born 5pm, 9 June 2007 at Lismore Hospital, NSW weighing 8lb 10oz (the day I flew in - clever lad!)

Byron Bay, NSW

Here's Australia's most eastern point (closest to NZ!). It was a gorgeous day - even saw a wallaby.

Trip to Australia

A wonderful gift from Hazel (John's mum) for my 50th birthday was a trip to Australia. I stayed in Byron Bay, NSW
